'Pokémon Sun & Moon' News: Nintendo 3DS Release Date Set For November 23

There's scarcity in the news surrounding "Pokémon Sun & Moon" except for the fact that the release date for the seventh generation would still be on Nov. 23.

The pre-order for the "Pokémon Sun & Moon" is actually out now, according to the news report, which people can buy about $50. But a Fan Edition, which includes a special SteelBook case, would be six bucks more expensive. Nevertheless, when you pre-order you get a figurine.

In related news, people who buy the "Pokémon Sun & Moon" will get their very own Munchlax that will evolve into a Snorlax along with a special item dubbed the Snorlium Z. The character also exhibits special moves that you could not teach otherwise, the Happy Hour and the Hold Back.

Meanwhile, Wired reported that the original Pokemon characters have been updated with some new moves, now called the Z-Moves, which means players can learn more techniques. For instance, Pikachu will get to unleash the Catastropika and Evee can attack through Extreme Eveboost.

In Catastropika, Pikachu will wrap itself in electric charge after borrowing from its trainer's strength, which it then throws to its opponent. The Extreme Eveboost, meanwhile, will allow Evee to borrow from its eight evolved characters to raise the character's speed, attack and defense.

Snorlax also has its own Z-Move, which will really surprise people who expect the character to be sleeping all the time.

Watch out for more "Pokémon Sun & Moon" news, which will be published here when they become available. The game will be available in nine languages on the launch, including simplified and traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
