Pokemon X and Y Rumors: Shiny Xerneas, Yvetal, and Zygarde Images Leaked (PHOTOS)
New images have been leaked regarding legendary shinies in Pokemon X and Y, that show off Xerneas, Yvetal, and Zygarde.
Shiny Pokemon have existed in many of the franchise's games, and are among the most rare of occurrences. Gamers have been strategizing on how to find these elusive shiny creatures by creating all sorts of methods, theories, and trading systems.
The three legendary Pokemon mentioned above are premium Pokemon in the game, and finding shiny counterparts for them would prove impossible because there is only one of each, and two of three in each game. However, these new screenshots indicate otherwise.

So far it is not confirmed whether the images are real, but the photos certainly look legitimate. Also, no method or cause of how these Pokemon have been acquired has been offered so far.
As of right now the most efficient way to get a Shiny Pokemon is through a player created app that uses Shiny Values and Instacheck. However, some people are not too keen to this method as it makes the game easier.
Instacheck gives the gamer a number of statistics to help them understand their chances of finding a Shiny. The stats accounted for are Trainer Shiny Value, Egg Shiny Value, IVs, EVs, and PIDs, reported IBTimes.
"Instacheck Hotspot uses your computer's wireless connection to create a wi-fi hotspot, which you must use to connect your 3DS to the internet. Your computer can then analyze all network traffic going to your 3DS, and find the data of all Pokémon shown or sent to you in a trade. Instacheck lets you view their details -- even of unhatched eggs!" said a description at the forum that discussed the app.
Another way to catch shiny Pokemon has been diagrammed on a Tumblr account called Yellowfur, which breaks down the method of chaining.
