Pokemon X and Y Trading Card Game Booster Packs Coming to North America Feb. 5 (PICTURE)
Pokemon will be getting an X and Y card game installment to reflect the new game's and update the series.
The booster packs will also include Mega Evolutions and Fairy types, reported Digital World. Screen shots of the cards in Japanese can be seen here.
Digital World reported the new booster packs will be headed to North America on Feb. 5, and every pack will contain 10 cards.
There are rumors concerning new Pokemon games that are tentatively called Plus and Minus, and will allegedly be for the Wii U and 3DS.
The report comes from the site Dual Pixels, who were leaked the information by a source named "Geno." Geno previously has predicted correct gaming news for Kingdom Hearts and Castlevania as well as a number of of things from the E3 game conference. However, it is important to note, that these predictions can be incorrect or completely false.
Dual Pixels has reported Geno has been correct on a lot of major news about gaming, but he has been incorrect before. He is also promised to provide more information at a later date.
Some of the key rumors announced by Geno include development details, info on the three starting Pokemon, and gameplay.
Key rumors include: new battle mechanics, "Old Tradition vs. New Exploration," a new location based on South East Asia, three new starters (Water/Steel, Fire/Fairy, Grass/Electric - final forms), the legendary for Plus will be a Physic/Ground and Minus will feature a Ghost/Fairy type, gameplay on the 3DS will be the classic way while playing on the Wii U will throw the game into the HD 3D world, and a new feature called Pokemon Band.
