Pokemon X and Y Update, News: Maintenance on on 3DS eShop Results in Game Going Offline

Pokemon X and Y is offline today due to maintenance of the Nintendo eShop from 5 p.m. EST through March 11 7 a.m. PST.

The game will also be down on Thursday, when Nintendo gives an "extended maintenance" to the eShop on all the Nintendo consoles.

Also, this month Nintendo is offering gamers a free downloadable copy of Pokemon X and Y once they register their 3DS or 2DS along with several games on the company's site.

In other Pokemon news, there is a Japanese trailer out for the Pokemon X and Y movie "Cocoon of Destruction," and it features legendary creatures, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Diancie.

The video was uploaded to the Pokemon company's YouTube channel last week.

Although the trailer is in Japanese, it is clear this next movie will be action packed. Xerneas and Yveltal are seen battling with one another, and the Mega Evolved forms of Absol and Scizor square off.

According to KPopStarz, X and Y's final starter evolutions, Delphox, Greninja, and Chesnaught will also be in the film along with their trainers.
Information of the movie was leaked last month along with two other hidden in game Pokemon, Volcanion and Hoopa.
