The "Power Rangers" 2017 official teaser trailer as well as poster was already released by Lionsgate and Sabans Entertainment, which only fueled the hype for the much anticipated movie.

Based on the official teaser trailer of the "Power Rangers" 2017, the new members of the inter-galactic defenders seem to be having issues fitting in. The movie also deals with new issues confronting the youth of today like peer pressure and bullying.

The posters of the "Power Rangers" 2017 also show the revamped costumes. But there's a reason why the superheroes is ditching the old spandex for the more badass costumes, said to be Alien technology that adapt to the one who wears it.

As director Dean Israelite told Entertainment Weekly, "The show was about kids coming of age, about metamorphosis. These suits needed to feel like they were catalyzed by these kids and their energy, their spirit."

It's also an attempt by the producers and the director to introduce a classic show to the new audience, and hopefully gain a new fanbase.

The synopsis for "Power Rangers" is as follows:

"Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove - and the world - is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it's too late, band together as the Power Rangers."
