'Pretty Little Liars' (PLL) Season 7 Teaser, News & Update: Aria And Ezra Not Getting Their Happy Ending?

Fans of "Pretty Little Liars" who hope for a happy ending for the series might get disappointed.

Recently, "Pretty Little Liars" producer Marlene King posted a snap from the set with her fans on Instagram. The photo shows a chalkboard from Alison's classroom that features a cryptic quote by poet Shel Silberstein.

"There are no happy endings. Endings are the saddest part. So just give me a happy middle and a very happy start," reads the quote.

"Last pic I took of Ezra's then Ali's classroom," Marlene captions the photo.

While the photo does not confirm that the quote has anything to do with the ending of "Pretty Little Liars," fans of the series are worried that their beloved characters may not be getting the happy ending that they all have been hoping for.

The producer's Instagram post came days after viewers of the series speculated that season 7B will finally see the wedding of Aria and Ezra. These speculations came when Harding uploaded a photo of Aria portrayer Lucy Hale wearing a wedding dress.

Harding did not allude to a potential wedding, but fans were quick to speculate that the photo could have been taken during the filming for Aria and Ezra's wedding.

In September, King teased that a wedding might come up in season 7B when she shared a line of dialogue from the script, which appeared to be a wedding vow.

Due to the latest spoiler King posted, however, some fans speculate that the happy ending they all wish for Aria and Ezra won't happen anymore.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7B premieres in April 2017 on Freeform.
