Fans hope to finally know in the upcoming season of "Pretty Little Liars" is Spencer is indeed "A."

In the last episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7, Spencer was shot but it was pretty clear that Spencer would survive. However, some fans believe that just because she is one of the main characters in the series does not necessarily mean that she cannot be "A."

Since the first season of the drama, Spencer Hasting has always been portrayed as an intelligent, strong and independent woman. Her character has not character has not changed in season 7, as the other members of the group like Hannah, Alison, Aria and Emily still turn to her when the need for them to make tough decisions arises.

Now that the series is a few episodes away from its finale, theories about some of the characters and their storylines are already starting to sprout. One fan theory claims that Charlotte Di Laurenti is actually alive. There are also speculations that Ezra and Aria are working for "A," and that two major characters will die before the end of the season. However, the most common theory that has been making the rounds online recently is that Spencer is working for "A."

Since the previous seasons of the series, the character has always been known for defying the mysterious "A." However, recent speculations point out that after Spencer recovers from her injuries from the previous episode, she will finally be convinced that "A" is not someone she should go up against. In fact, some even speculate that she will try to convince everyone to support her plan to surrender and work for "A."
