'Prey' Gameplay Trailer News & Update: Latest Clip Offers Some Surprises

The "Prey" gameplay trailer was shown during the recent The Game Awards 2016, and the clip seemed to confirm previous news reports about the new game from Arkane Studios.

For instance, there's the fact that the game seems to mimic the "BioShock" series such as the abandoned space station, aggressive aliens and also the neuromod powers which you inject yourself to gain some extra boost, noted PCGamer.

What's different about these aliens, however, is that they can shapeshift, which makes them even more dangerous, said GameRant. So instead of just looking for some nasty monsters within the dark corners, you really have to be careful about that furniture because that could literally kill you.

You are not without powers yourself, however, as you can also change your shape to slip through narrow cracks or even teleport somewhere in the ship.

Those who know the story can make sense of the "Prey" gameplay trailer. The plot for the game has already been reported in various news reports. But to recap, you play Morgan Yu, apparently a test subject in Talos I space station. The year is 2032 and you find yourself right smack in the middle of a battle for life and death when hostile aliens overrun the spacecraft.

Apart from killing the menacing alien, you also have to unmask the people behind a conspiracy.

There's no news yet on the release date only that it would come sometime in spring next year. For now, you will just to satisfy yourself with the "Prey" gameplay trailer. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
