PS4 vs. Xbox One , Spec's and Considerations. Which One is Better. Pre-Orders and Sells.
The Xbox One has seemed to have caughten up with the best selling gaming system, PS4 (Playstation 4). In the past couple of years, the big holidays have been the best selling moments for these two gaming systems as they have become the most sought after tech devices. Yet, which gaming system gets bought more and why?
"While many forecasts still give an edge to Sony/PS4 in North America sales, we continue to expect similar or even slightly higher sales of Xbox One by the end of the launch window," stated Sabastian, technology analyst. Despite the extra cost for Xbox, the gaming system has seen a definite increase in sales as the multitude of different devices and games comes available. According to Microsoft and SONY, the two companies will sell on average about $2.3 million dollars in controllers this Christmas.
The PS4 has gained a total of 125,000 dollars woth of pre-sell orders with a total of 725,000 units solds all together with Xbox bringing in the exact same amount. "Week one sales for both consoles in the US are expected to be pretty similar," the site reports in a blog post. "At the current pace the PlayStation 4 should sell just over one million units, while the Xbox One should sell just under one million units." Unsurprisingly, Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts sits at the top of both the PS4 and Xbox One lists, with 298,180 units pre-ordered on PS4 and 329,032 on Xbox One. With Christmas coming up, the two gaming devices are becoming hig commodities, but it still looks like Xbox may fall short of PS4's charm.
