Randy Seedorff Releases New Single "You Are Good" To Radio
Veteran singer-songwriter and worship leader Randy Seedorff on Monday released his latest single to radio, "You Are Good," via Danjartay Music. The song is a cut from Seedorff latest solo EP, Elevate, and is currently going for adds at Christian INSPO/Soft AC and Christian AC-formatted radio outlets.
"You Are Good" along with the other tracks on his latest EP was produced by Larry Gann at Awe Struck Studios.
The new single release comes just days after Seedorff and his band Soul Purpose performed at the Nehemiah Fest XII in Smithville, Mo. The band was one of 50 acts which performed across four stages during the three-day event.
Seedorff has been writing and performing music for more than 30 years, both as a solo artist and in bands, combining his love of rock and roll with powerful vocals. In 2010, Seedorff formed Soul Purpose, a band that plays throughout the Kansas City region.
Earlier this year, Seedorff released a music video for the album's second single "From the Inside Out," filmed and directed by Zach Johnson Productions in Lee's Summit, Mo. The video forms a beautiful backdrop to the song, which was inspired by a passage in the Book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
Seedorff says that the premise of "From the Inside Out' is that once God changes the heart, the rest of the mind, body, soul, and lifestyle begin to change as well. The music video depicts the change in the hearts of the actors and a transition from dark to light, he explains.
In addition to performing and writing music, Seedorff is pastor of worship and discipleship at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Independence, Mo. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Gospel Music Association (GMA).
