‘Ray Donovan’ Season 2 Finale Features Something Big & Unexpected: 'The Captain' Episode
The finale episode of the second season of Showtime's 'Ray Donovan' may cause some serious shock for its viewers, since one of the show's stars revealed what kind of surprises are in store for final Season 2 episode.
"As per last season, Ray Donovan is really good at making something huge happen by the end of the season, and this is exactly what is going to happen. The unexpected is going to happen, and people are going to have...something happen to them," Vinessa Shaw who plays Kate in the series told The Wrap.
The finale episode entitled "The Captain" will focus on Mickey trying to formulate a new plan. Fans can remember that his previous plan shattered into pieces when Terry was jailed and Shorty ended up dying.
The character Abby will also have her share of screen time, as she thinks over which side to choose, her husband Ray's or her lover Jim's.
The upcoming finale episode will also feature a discussion between Ezra and Ray as shown in a sneak peek video posted on the show's YouTube channel.
"You don't know who you are anymore, Ray. It's all gotten away from you," Ezra said in the preview. To which the main character answered, "It's over Ezra."
In another clip for the said episode, Ray is shown talking to Terry, saying there are things he can do to get the latter out of prison. Terry refused Ray's offer, since he believes he deserved to be jailed for what he did. Prior to the end of the video, it was revealed that Ray wanted to get Terry out of jail to take care of his family.
"I'm in trouble. I might be going away," confessed Ray. When Terry refused, Ray added, "If you don't do it, Mickey will."
Meanwhile, Omar Dorsey, the actor who plays Cookie in the series, revealed where his character is going in the finale.
"I'm waiting on Ray to give me the tape of the shooting. I've paid him $1 million. I'm like, 'I paid you the money, I need that tape.' I'm getting a little bit antsy, I just know that I can't get my $1 million cash and he's not answering my phone calls. So we see what can happen when Cookie feels like he's being pressed up against a windshield like, 'You work for me now, Ray Donovan.'," Dorsey told CL Atlanta.
The finale episode of 'Ray Donovan' Season 2 airs on Sept. 28, 9 pm on Showtime.
