In his last start Norris got lit up by the Oakland lineup. This is turning into a problem. Since Orioles manage Buck Showalter runs through pitchers so quickly, they had to go out and find some extra arms. Feldman is back and forth and Norris is fading as well.

Baltimore has to deliver here entering into a very crucial stretch with road trips against New York and Cleveland coming up. At the end of the 9 game swing, we'll know if Baltimore is still in the wild card race or not.

Though he lost in his last outing to the Dodgers, Lackey is in good form, only allowing three hits. He did get hurt in his last outing against the Orioles. The Red Sox now have a little breathing room between them and the Rays and the rest of AL East. They are now emerging as the favorite to win their division. They'd want to get home field in the American League if they can.
