'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Release Date News, Update: December Premiere Date Pushed Back?
While fans expect the third season of "Rick & Morty" to return this coming Holiday Season, it looks like the series will not air this December. The animation is reportedly half-done, but that does not necessarily mean that a December air date will follow.
Since the previous season was a hit, fans are dying to know when season 3 will air. Previous reports claimed that the third installment of the series would air in early December. However, recent reports point out that the series might be delayed.
Due to lack of any teaser or promo video for the upcoming season, some speculate that season 3 will not come as early as expected. It is barely a month before the expected December 2 air date of the season, but there has been no any official announcement yet about the return of the series. Some fans claim that if the series is really set to premiere next month, there should have already been at least a teaser video to promote the series.
On the other hand, some fans believe that "Rick & Morty" does not need any heavy promotional campaign due to the series' huge following.
Previously, writer and co-producer Dan Guterman announced on Twitter that he was already done with the script. However, explained that just because the script is done does not mean that the entire animation is ready to premiere just yet. Guterman said that the script will still be reviewed for animation, and that the production team still has seven more episodes to review.
Since a December premiere is highly unlikely, fans of "Rick & Morty" should wait for more updates on the season 3 premiere.
