Riley Clemmons To Release Her Self-Titled Full-Length Debut Album On Aug. 3, Featuring Hit Single "Broken Prayers" And More
18-year-old singer-songwriter Riley Clemmons is gearing up to release her awaited self-titled debut full-length project, Riley Clemmons, on Capitol CMG on Aug. 3. The new 12-track LP features songs such as Clemmons breakthrough hit and lead single "Broken Prayers," along with the newly released "Better For It."
In addition to her two singles, Clemmons serves up the growth-filled "Broke;" "Hold On," an anthemic encouragement not to give up; the truth-based "Running After You;" as well as "Remember" and "I'll Stay," both of which were born out of her relationship with her mother and younger sister. The singer is planning to spend the day of the album's release at Ryan Seacrest Foundation's Seacrest Studios near Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Clemmon's hometown of Nashville, Tenn.
"Music has always been a way for me to find light and hope in the middle of darkness," Clemmons says. "Lyrics and melodies unite people in such a beautifully unique way, showing us we're not that different from one another. I hope these songs help others to find hope, light, and unity, just as writing them helped me to find my faith through the lens of a new perspective."
Clemmons is facing a busy touring schedule this summer and fall, joining friends Danny Gokey and Tauren Wells for "The Hope Encounter" Tour kicking off in September, and visiting 25 cities before wrapping up in November.
