'Rise Of The Tomb Raider' PS4 Update 1.04 News: Input Lag Issues Fixed

Eidos Montreal's video game "Rise of the Tomb Raider" has had a new update for the PlayStation 4 and as per reports, the input lag issue has been resolved.

Called version 1.04, the update attempts to fix issues, such as notable input lag and large dead zone in the action-adventure game's PlayStation 4 version, as per Eurogamer. As per the publication, the update also had considerable changes, from the selection of precision weaponry to pulling off headshots.

Previously, players reported new crashes , which resulted to error code CE-34878-0, after the patch's initial release. However, as per reports, the problem was linked to issues in the network. To resolve the issue, players are advised to disable the network connection. At the moment, players reported that they had not run into any game crash while testing PlayStation 4 patch version 1.04.

As per Eurogamer, the game runs smoothly on PC and Xbox 360; however, the game provides slight visual enhancements on the Xbox One. According to the publication, Nixxes created the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PC game versions while Crystal Dynamics created the Xbox One.

Along with the input latency issues and game crash, other inclusions in "Rise of the Tomb Raider" update 1.04 are enhancements to 4K image quality and frame rate for the PlayStation 4 Pro, various bug fixes, and improved game stability. As per PlayStation Lifestyle, thee aforementioned add to the day one upgrades for the game, in celebration of 20 years on PlayStation 4 and inclusion of PlayStation VR support.
