Robin Thicke, Paula Patton Divorce: Singer 'Believes' Things will Work Out Because 'God is Good' (VIDEO)

Charming crooner Robin Thicke reveals he still has faith that things will work out between him and his wife Paula Patton after recent split. He says knowing that "God is good" gets him through.

The famous R&B singer was at his concert on Sunday at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City when he took time to encourage the audience before going into his rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together."

''Never stop believing and you never stop loving. And even if it is over, make sure you treat each other right. Treat your family right. Take care of your mom, take care of your kids and good things will come to you. Just keep believing that God is good," he said.

Adding, ''that's what gets me by. Sometimes when I get a little scared or worried about the future, I just try to stay positive and do my part to spread love and spread joy.''

His speech may have been triggered by an earlier outburst from a fan. The audience member shouted: ''I love Paula.''

Robin, who (still wearing his wedding ring) quickly shouted back: ''I do too.''

Although Thicke and Patton issued a statement saying they had ''mutually'' decided to separate, it has been extensively reported that the singer was against the decision and tried his best to persuade the actress to change her mind.

In another concert in Fairfax, VA the singer also brought up Patton. "For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman."

He also told went on to tell fans he wrote the song "Lost Without U" for Paula. The "Blurred Lines" singer often sings about love and intimacy and he claims all songs were written about his wife.

The couple has been together for 20 years and they first met when Thicke was 14. The two dated throughout high school and decided to get married in 2005. They have a three-year-old son together named Julian Fuego Thicke. Unfortunately Hollywood is known for its stigma on marriages. Keep the family and their young child together in prayer as they go through this unfortunate time.
