The Royal Royal New Album "The Return Of The King" Fall 2013 (See Tracklist), Single "The Lights" Debuts Top 10 on iTunes, Listen Here (VIDEO) 

The brother combo of THE ROYAL ROYAL, Nathan and Gabriel Finochio, are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album, THE RETURN OF THE KING this fall. 

The band has released their new single "The Lights," which debuted in the Top 10 on iTunes this week.

"Our favorite thing to do as artists is create: the opportunity to record another album is a complete thrill from start to finish. But within that great joy are two tensions that really act as ropes that make our art a tent for people to enter into and explore. The first tension is that of being new and the second being old. We want our music and expression to be fresh, but we want our theology to be old," says The Royal Royal's Nathan Finochio. 

Nathan continued, "Sometimes we think that the music should be old and the theology new. Or sometimes we think that the old themes are boring and not worth repeating-as if the blood of Jesus could run its course. Our prayer for everyone that plays this record is two-fold: that they re-discover Jesus Christ in the freshest way, and that the old things seem brand new, all over again."

The Royal Royal will be on the Heart Tour this fall with City Harmonic and Shawn McDonald with shows in 35 cities across North America. 

The brothers are from Canada and grew up as pastor's kids leading worship in their church.  

This has given them the desire to create the new sound of worship music for the church today and the church of the future. They hope to make music that is innovative and progressive, with lyrics and a message that speak of ancient biblical truths.
