Russell Brand Kicked out of 2013 GQ Men of the Year Awards. Katie Perry's Ex-Husband Tells Nazi Joke and Magazine Editor Dylan Jones Kickes him out!

English comedian Russel Brand is now famous for more than his roles in movies such as Despicable Me 1 & 2, and Get him to the Greek. The comedian is now famous for getting kicked out of the 2013 GQ Men of the Year awards party after making a Nazi joke about designer Hugo Boss.

Brand took to the stage and said,

"Glad to grace the stage where Boris Johnson had just made light of the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Meaning that GQ could now stand for Genocide quips. I mention that only to make this next comment a bit lighter because if any of you know a little about history, and fashion, you know it was Hugo Boss who made uniforms for the Nazis. But they looked fantastic, let's face it, while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality."

While Brand's comments are in fact true, GQ's Editor Dylan Jones didn't take the joke so lightly and kicked Brand out of the event. Shortly after Brand took to his twitter account to explain his side of the story, he tweeted,

@rustyrockets: GQ editor: "What you did was very offensive to Hugo Boss." Me:" What Hugo Boss did was very offensive to the Jews."#GQAwards#nazitailor

Last year while hosting the 2012 MTV VMA's Russell Brand hit the audience with yet another political joke during his opening speech to kick the awards show off. Brand said,

"Obviously, I don't vote as I believe democracy is a pointless spectacle where we choose between two indistinguishable political parties, neither of whom represent the people but the interest of powerful business elites that run the world."
