Samsung Galaxy Gear Release Date 2013, Wrist Camera with 2.5 Inch Screen [PICTURES], See Details Watch Here (VIDEO)

Samsung has been on a releasing frenzy this year and it appears to have more still in store for 2013. 

Along with the Galaxy Note 3 that is expected to be officially unveiled at IFA 2013 on September 4th, there looks to be now another surprise that they could show off. 

Samsung has been working on a smart watch device called Samsung Gear. However, recently the name got changed to Samsung Galaxy Gear which is significant because that means it will be categorized under the Galaxy family. 

The Galaxy Gear will have a full color 2.5 inch (diagonally) display with a 2MP camera. It will only have a dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. 

It could run on the new Android 4.2 interface which allows integration between all phone and tablet devices. It will also feature Bluetooth 4.0 and gesture support. 

If Samsung does unveil this new Galaxy Gear smart watch do you think it will catch on? It will be interesting to see how good a flexible screen looks and how the watch would feel on someone's wrist. 

If nothing else, it adds for good conversation, because Samsung or Apple will be releasing smart watches soon, if not in September.
