Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date in U.S. for Sprint, AT&T / Features Include 5.7 Inch Full HD Display, Air Command
After unveiling the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 earlier in September at the Unpacked Event, the Korean-based tech company has announced it's official release date in the U.S. will be October 4 for the Sprint network.
Sprint's unlimited data plan will also be available for the new "phablet" from Samsung.
Three days earlier, AT&T subscribers will be able to buy the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 October 1, 2013.
There is still no word on pre-order availability, but the company's splash page now has the option to pre-register for more updates and information.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features we know the new tablet will come equipped with:
- 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display
- 2.3 GHz quad-core LTE processor [U.S.]
- 32GB and 64GB storage options [w/ microSD expansion up to 64GB]
- 3GB RAM
- 13 megapixel rear-facing camera
- 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera
- 1080p/60 video recording [some models will feature 4K video recording]
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system
- 3,200mAh batter
As for some of the software features, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has better multi-tasking capabilities with Air Command, which takes user directly to the Action memo, Screen Write, S-Finder, Scrapbook and Pen Windo apps.
The Samsung patented S-Pen is back with the new Note 3.
