Samsung Galaxy Nougat Update, Release Date: Beta Now Live But Not Be Able To Log In

The Samsung Galaxy Nougat update beta is already rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, but the bad news is that you might not be able to sign in.

According to Droid-Life, the registration of the Samsung Galaxy Nougat update may already be full. Some lucky enough were able to get in, but at this point in the sign-up it may be too late for everybody else.

Also, the beta was only made available on US carriers T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint. Unlocked models, meanwhile, were excluded from the beta. The beta program will also soon come to the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge.

This is not surprising, of course, since this news has been reported by almost all tech sites for quite some time now. The Android Nougat was launched back in August, although it started in Nexus phones. The software slowly trickled down to the other smart phones.

But CNET reported that it took Samsung quite some time to finish the update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Aside from the US, the Galaxy Nougat update was also launched in South Korea, China and the UK.

The website also tried to contact South Korean company about the possibility of opening up more slots for the Samsung Galaxy Nougat update on the S7 and S7 Edge, but so far there's no news on that end.

The good news, however, is with the public beta, the release of Samsung Galaxy Note update may just be around the horizon.
