Samsung announced Monday, they'd be debuting some new devices at their June 20 London tech show. Reports have surfaced the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be one of those new devices. After a recent blip on the Samsung website [accidentally posting a photo of the Galaxy S4 mini, along with a product number] anticipation has heightened. The picture was quickly removed. But not before the guys and gals over at Engadget circulated the images online.

Apple too is downsizing their phones. A new iPad mini is projected to launch later this year, along with rumors of an iPhone mini. It too is expected to have a lower price tag. But why make these phones smaller? The Galaxy S4's 5-inch display has been a hit.

"Our research showed that some customers, particularly some female customers, found the size of the phone to be too large," according to Samsung marketing chief D.J. Lee.

Though no rumors have been confirmed regarding the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, fans are still salivating over possible specs and features.

Many believe the Galaxy S4 mini will shrink the flagship phone screen from 5 inches to a 4.3-inch display. The processor is also a bit more limited at 1.6GHz. Instead of a 13-megapixel camera, like the Galaxy S4, the mini will probably offer somewhere around 8-megapixel. Though no word on the Galaxy S4 mini price, it's expected to be cheaper than the larger and more spec friendly Galaxy S4.
