Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Blackberry Z10: Specs, Screen, Processor / GS4, Best Phone of 2013?

There used to be a time where Apple controlled the smartphone market. Heck, they basically invented the first smartphone. Those days are long gone. Though the iPhone 5 is a fine phone, and still a very popular one, new players like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Blackberry Z10 are making their claim for the throne [sorry, still upset Game of Thrones ended].

When comparing the Galaxy S4 and Blackberry Z10, the first noticeable difference is the screen. The Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch display that uses Super AMOLED technology. The screen supports Full HD resolution.

The Blackberry Z10 sports a much smaller 4.2-inch screen. At 1280 x 768 resolution, the Blackberry Z10 has the highest pixels per inch of any smartphone on the market; even the GS4. Still the screen nod goes to Samsung.

Alright let's talk processor. The Z10 has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Though that's still a more efficient processor than the Apple iPhone 5, the S4's CPU is through the roof. Samsung managed to pack a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. The GS4 also has 2GB of RAM.

When it comes to storage, the Blackberry Z10 is definitely lacking. While the Galaxy S4 come is 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage options, the Blackberry Z10 only comes in 16GB models. However the Z10 does support up to 64GB of microSD card storage.

Hopefully this helped your smartphone decision making. There's a lot to remember, but essentially just pick the phone that's best for you. In this case, the Galaxy S4 better be the phone that's right for you because it beats the Blackberry Z10 out of the water.
