Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date, Specs, Price News & Rumors: MCW 2017 Launch Is Confirmed?

The rumors are intensifying around the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date being during the MCW 2017, which kicks off on Feb. 27 and runs until March 2.

The South Korean company has not yet confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, but historically, it launched its previous models of the flagship between February and March, except for the S3 which was introduced into the market in May 2012.

PC Advisor even predicts that that Samsung Galaxy S8 release date would be on Feb. 26, or a day before the MCW congress.

If the rumors are to be believed, Samsung is really looking forward to releasing the S8 in order to get the consumers' minds out of the fiasco that was the exploding batteries of the Galaxy Note 7. But it might be that the company has learned its lesson by not rushing a product only to suffer the embarrassment later on, when consumers find a serious fault.

Early reports claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would have a 5.5-inch screen, which would be the biggest for this model. It will almost certainly feature 4K display to prepare for the Samsung Gear VR. In line with that, it will run a high-speed processor, most probably higher than the Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890, as well as high-end graphics.

Some rumors have pointed out that among the specs for the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be the 10 nm chip, which would really make this phone fly. As to the price, it's speculated that it will range from $650 to as much as $800, but we wouldn't know for sure until the official announcement is made probably when the release date nears.
