Samuel L Jackson, Sam Rubin 'Laurence Fishburne Video' Goes Viral After Entertainment KTLA Reporter Mixes Up Actors (VIDEO)

Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson berated an entertainment reporter in Los Angeles on Monday after the anchor appeared to mistake the actor for "Matrix" actor Laurence Fishburne.

"You're as crazy as the people on Twitter. I'm not Laurence Fishburne!" said Jackson during a live TV interview with KTLA. "We don't all look alike. We may be all black and famous, but we all don't look alike. You're busted."

Jackson's reaction briefly surprised CNN affiliate KTLA reporter Sam Rubin, after asked Jackson what the feedback was to his Super Bowl commercial.

"What Super Bowl commercial?" said Jackson to KTLA adding. "You're the entertainment reporter for this station and you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne? That must be a very short line for your job outside there."

When Rubin expressed regret continually, Jackson was playfully joking with Rubin about his mistake.

"I'm the other guy," said Jackson to KTLA adding. "There's more than one black guy doing a commercial. I'm the 'What's in your wallet?' black guy. He's the car black guy. Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy. You only hear his voice, though, so you probably won't confuse him with Laurence Fishburne."

Rubin later told Jackson that he did in fact see Jackson in the Captain America commercial during the Super Bowl but he confused his ad with Fishburne's Kia car ad which also aired on the same day.

"I pride myself on the fact -- that unlike a lot of people who do this kind of work -- more often than not, I really do know what I'm talking about. But I didn't 30 minutes ago, and I'm really embarrassed about it, and I very much apologize to Samuel L. Jackson and anyone else who was offended for what was a very amateur mistake," said Rubin in an official statement expressing his sincere apologies for his on-air mistake.

Captain America: The Winter Storm starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson will arrive in theaters on April 4, 2014.
