Previously missing Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard, Spurs might not have their star point guard Tony Parker as the short-handed and probably exhausted Spurs will attempt go for their fourth straight victory overall and 22nd in 23 meetings versus the Nets tonight. The Spurs are currently on a 9 game road trip.
Parker was incapable to return last night after exiting the game at halftime with stiffness in his lower back. However Spurs rallied from a 17-point deficit for a 125-118 double overtime win at Washington.
Spurs Future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan led the Spurs by example as usual with a terrific performance by totaling 31 points, 11 rebounds and five assists before fouling out in the second overtime versus the Wizards.
In addition, Duncan's teammate Danny Green also had a good game with 22 points, seven boards and five 3-pointers.
"I am absolutely up for that," said Duncan to ESPN referring to his Gregg Popovich's joke that his veteran player will play the entire game against the Nets tonight. "Sounds like fun."
The Nets ended a three-game losing streak with a 108-102 home victory over Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
