'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 3 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: What Happens Inside The Bubble? Cyrus' Late Night Secret

As fans of 'Scandal' know, Olivia Pope is getting herself right back into the thick of things as she steps into the world of D.C politics once again. Evidently, she's not going alone as she dragged Jake along with her on the Season 4 premiere episode that aired September 25.

Even though Olivia and Jake got a chance to get away from all the White House drama for a while, in Episode 3, entitled "Inside the Bubble," the pair will be seen right back in the middle of it.

According to the official synopsis for Episode 3, Olivia gets together with an old friend of hers, Sonya Walger. However, this only happens after her daughter goes missing. Meanwhile, the real "scandal" involves what Jake is up to.

The official synopsis reveals that Jake is no longer part of B613, however, he's going to continue investigating, at least until someone finds out. Fans can recall that Jake knows that something is up with Harrison's (Columbus Short) murder case.

The security footage taken from the Arizona diner, didn't show Harrison's death, but instead, Charlie (George Newbern) who was Rowan's (Joe Morton) No. 1 B613 hit man.

In Episode 3, fans can expect to see Jake getting some answers through his connections with B613. Meanwhile, Mellie (Bellamy Young) will become "obsessed with a national news story."

Evidently, the news story she's following is of major importance to her, but it has not yet been revealed what the story is about.

Lastly, spoilers reveal that Cyrus (Jeff Perry) will have somewhat of an "awkward run-in during a business breakfast." Thinking back to Episode 2 of Season 4, Lizzie Bear is looking to take down Cyrus once and for all. She's also been using Michael as one of her pawns, so that means Cyrus' little secret (late night rendezvous with Michael) might be disclosed at the breakfast table.

On that note, David is going to try everything in his power to outsmart Lizzie and prove he's got what it takes to be Attorney General.

'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 3 airs on ABC on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 9 pm EDT.
