Walter professes his love for Paige in the premiere episode of "Scorpion" season 3.

In the season premiere, Walter shows up in Lake Tahoe to wear his heart on his sleeve. He goes to Tahoe to see Paige, who is there to grace a jazz festival with Tom Armstrong.

According to executive producer Nicholas Wootton, the confession came out worse for Walter.

"It goes beyond what his worst expectations could have been," he said.

Executive producer Nick Santora also added, "Usually when Walter has a plan, it works out because he's a genius. He goes to Tahoe with a plan and let's just say he stumbles upon a variable he doesn't expect."

In the season 2 finale, Toby found out that Happy was already married. In the season 3 premiere, however, Scorpion has to hit pause on their romantic issues as some nasty hackers hijack the military forces of America.

"We've got fighter pilots fighting fighter pilots and battleships, and it's a huge incident that we've got to solve--all wile Walter is trying to chase after Paige," revealed Agent Gallo portrayer Robert Patrick.

Following the season premiere, the emotional genius will seek to endear himself to his love interest by using his IQ to solve problems that normal people face. Santora also added that Walter might even sing a little jingle for Paige.

Early in the season, Walter will also be launched into space and will fantasize a conversation with Paige when his oxygen starts to run low.

"Scorpion" season 3 premiered on October 3 on CBS.
