Sesame Street Spoofs "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in New Parody "The Hungry Games: Catching Fury"

Lately the people over at Sesame Street have been in a real spoofing mood. Last week the classic kid's show targeted Showtime's political thriller Homeland creating a parody called "Homelamb," which starred all sheep and their enemy, a big bad wolf in sheep's clothing.

This week Sesame Street set their eyes on a new victim, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Their spoof trailer "The Hungry Games: Catching Fur" focuses on the Cookie Monster starring as "Cookieness Evereat" competing to win cookies.

In the past, Sesame Street has spoofed hit series such as, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, Downtown Abbey, and Boardwalk Empire to keep adults interested as they watch the classical show with their children.

The parody brings The Hunger Games: Catching Fire good publicity before the film is set to hit theaters on November 22. You can check out "Homelamb" and "The Hungry Games: Catching Fur" below. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
