'Sister Wives' News Update: TLC Releases A Spinoff Series Minus Kody Brown?

The "Sister Wives" spinoff will reportedly be released instead of an eighth season, but it won't include Kody Brown.

The reality TV series managed to run for seven seasons due to the support of its avid followers, thanks to the intriguing issues surrounding the Brown family. However, rumor has it that the wives are already fed up with the polygamous head of the family, Kody Brown, and that Meri is already dating another man, so "Sister Wives" season 8 won't happen anymore. Instead, TLC might release a spinoff series minus Kody Brown.

According to reports, TLC is cancelling "Sister Wives" season 8 but is going to release a spinoff. However, due to rumors that Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn are already planning to divorce Kody because of his plan to have a fifth wife, the production has allegedly decided to cut him off.

Kody was previously rumored to be dating a new woman, who was eventually revealed to be the family's nanny, Mindy Jessop. Dismayed, the sister wives are now planning to divorce Kody. It can be recalled that initially, it was only Meri who was actually planning to arrange a divorce petition.

In season 7, Meri was involved in an online scandal with another man. Since the scandal, Meri has decided to start anew and move on from Kody.

Recent reports suggest that Meri is now going out with a new man based in Hawaii. It looks like she is totally done with all the drama with Kody and the other wives, since she is reportedly often seen lately going on trips.
