FOX's new Tv series, "Sleepy Hollow" aired last night for it's sixth episode "The Sin Eater" as Abbie and Ichabod take on the adventure of showing him his first ever baseball game.  Abbie begans to act like a true baseball fan by yelling at the umpire, when she has to explain to Ichabod why she is doing so. Abbie tell's him of the three things that baseball is all about; tradition, teamwork, and non-discrimination, and that the sport is truly the American dream. As the two part ways after the game, Ichabod decides to go and visit his dead wife, Katrina, gravestone. While dusting off debri, Crane is shot with a traquilizer and masked with a black hood over his head by two men. As Abbie is driving home she is transported into a sleep state where she is getting chased by the Headless Horsemen. Trying to escape, Abbie runs into a large room that is filled with a coven of witches chanting spells when Katrina, Ichabods wife, comes to her and tell's her that the Horsemen will return at Sundown. Katrina also explains that the only way he can be stopped is with Crane and the Sin Eater, but Crane has been taken captive. Unaware of the location, Katrina tell's Abbie that he is hidden but if she doesn't find the Sin Eater before nightfall, all will be lost in Sleepy Hollow. Abigail becomes completely overwhelmed under the circumstances and goes to Captain Iriving and tell's him in full detail what is going to happen. Irving obviously skeptical, aks Abbie what she needs to get the job done to find the sin eater, when she requests to see her sister, Jenny. Jenny warns Abbie that they need to move very fast on the case of the Sin Eater or everything will be lost. 

Meanwhile, Crane awakes ,still very groggy from the tranquilizer ,when he see's Mr. Rutledge, decendant from Edward Rutledge, youngest signatory of the Declaration of Independance. In Episode 6, "Sin Eater", Rutledge begins to interrogate Crane to make sure he is in fact the real Ichabod Crane when he goes into a flashback of time. His flashback was him interrogating Mr. Bernard and being set up by the Captain as he was overcome with demons. After Mr. Bernard was killed, he went to Katrina's where he said the three words that Bernard told him to spoke, as Katrina slams him onto the gorund. Crane awakes and Rutdlege has figured out that he is who he says he is, and hands him a box and says to Crane that he knows what shall be done. Jenny and Abbie are still on the hunt for Crane when they finally find the door they are looking for. As they rush into the room, Abbie and Jenny find Ichabod and the three men together, as Ichabod tells them not to be alarmed. Ichabod explains to Abbie that the only way to stop the Horsemen because of their blood tie is to drink a potion that kills him, Abbie begs him not to do so and that there has to be another way. Crane disagrees and takes the potion sending him him through multiple life expierences. Suddenly, Henry Parrish appears before them when he tell's everyone to leave the room so he can save Ichabod from dying. Crane is sancitfied and was saved from the blood tie of the Horsemen by the forgiving of his sin with Bernard. As Episode 6 "Sin Eater" ends, the Headless Horsemen arrives at Ichabods grave and realizes that the blood tie has been severed and now the real hunt for him is on.
