'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Spoilers, News: Director Dishes Plot Details After Sept. 9 Premiere Episode, 'Black Widower'

In a recent interview with Vulture, 'Sons of Anarchy' director Paris Barclay revealed some spoilers about Season 7 which premiered last night. 'Black Widower' aired September 9, and turned out to be one of the most brutal episodes of the show.

Barclay was asked a series of questions about what fans can expect when the show returns with Episode 2, "Toil and Till."

Apparently, the first episode was pretty bloody when it comes to the show's standards, Barclay said, "Yes, but that's not all the blood there's going to be. That's just a little warm-up."

The next logical step, something fans are dying to know about, is what state of mind if Jax in right now? Barclay had the answer, "Jax [Charlie Hunnam] is in a place that's as dark as he's ever been. The way that he's dealing with the death of Tara [Maggie Siff] is not the way I would deal with the death of a loved one. He's compartmentalized it and turned it into vengeance. That's his focus."

Another questions fans are looking to get answered is whether or not Jax will ever find out the truth about Tara's death. Apparently, he will, "I think it's very unlikely that the last season of Sons of Anarchy will end without Jax knowing the truth about Tara's death. Very unlikely!"

The Vulture interview ended with Barclay's thoughts and feeling about the hit Netflix series coming to a close. Director Paris Barclay has evidently thought about this before, "It's a little depressing. We're on the downhill slide of the final season. We're losing characters at a fairly rapid clip, and we know we're revving towards the final moments we've always planned for the show.

He made to sure mention, "I have to admit, I'm going to miss it when it's gone."

Fans of 'Sons of Anarchy' can expect that the next episode, "Toil and Till," is going to air on September 19.
