Sony Xperia Z3 vs Xperia Z3 Specs and Features Comparison

Sony is trying to outperform other mobile phone producers by launching two new products every year. The Japanese phone and gadget manufacturer launched Sony Xperia Z2 early in 2014 and rumors claim they will be launching another smartphone which will be called Xperia Z3.

The launch of the new smartphone has not yet been announced, but reports say that it might be unveiled at the IFA event in September.

The estimated consumer price for the smartphone has not been confirmed yet, but other recently launched flagships are sold for around $943.

The Sony Xperia Z3 will reportedly have the same 1080p screen as the Xperia Z2, but will be slightly larger.

It would also seem that the new smartphone will have its speaker on the left side of the handset and it appears to be the same length as the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The width of the Xperia Z3 is said to be just 7mm thick, one of the slimmest smartphones Sony has produced.

The phone will be equipped with a rear camera that has a 20.7 megapixel and the new G lens Sony technology. This camera feature is the same as the other flagships released by the company - Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact, and Xperia Z2.

The new smartphone is also reported to be water and dust resistant like its predecessor, Xperia Z2. Also, it seems like the Xperia Z3 will be scratch and corrosion resistant as well.

Reports initially claimed that Sony would be focusing on launching its new flagships with the European and Japanese markets only, but recent updates said that they will also be releasing the devices in the United States.

Other than a slightly larger screen, a faster processor, and what seems like a less powerful front camera, the Xperia Z3 hardly differs from the Xperia Z2.
