'Spider-Man' Rumors, News: Russo Brothers Tease Costume On Twitter?
Recent photos that have been posted on a supposed Russo Brothers account seems to suggest a teasing of a possible Spider-Man costume set to appear in the MCU.
It's been well announced that British actor Tom Holland will be portraying the hero as early as 2016 in 'Captain America: Civil War,' however we haven't yet seen the talent in the superhero's classic costume.
If this account appears to be real, then we could very well be receiving vague images of what the producers plan to do with his overall look in this reboot.
Birth.Movies.Death brought to light the Twitter account and have speculated on the ambiguous photos. Here's what they have to say about what appears to be goggles:
"It's atop red fabric. It looks, to me, like some kind of a goggle, one with shutters. What if - and I'm just spit-balling here - this is Spider-Man's goggle? What if those shutters allow his goggles to squint and go wide-eyed, just as he does in the comics, where artists are free to change the expressions on the eyes on his mask?"
They also say this about what appears to be the costume's red and black fabric:
"To me that's a superhero costume. The texture, the colors - that just screams superhero costume. And the red and black say one thing to me: Spider-Man. It's important to remember that when Spider-Man was introduced his costume was red and black; the colorists of the time used blue to provide highlights (this is why Clark Kent seems to have blue hair in old comics). Over time the colors morphed into red and blue, but in his earliest appearances he was in straight-up red and black. That's a color scheme to which Marvel has returned for the Miles Morales Spider-Man, by the way, making it a version of the Spidey costume familiar to younger audiences. Could this be Spidey's costume, reflecting a color scheme that harkens back to his first appearances?"
Speculations are abundant, however according to Marvel's CCO, the costume is out there now and he believes its something fans are going to love.
