'Star Wars: Episode VII' Movie Premiere: Cast, Release Date & Synopsis
The anticipated making of the Star Wars: Episode VII saga from Walt Disney Studios has been officially confimed to open on December 18, 2015. Disney originally picked up the series after buying all rights to the 'Star Wars' series in October and announced that Producer, J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt would be directing the film. The stars of the original series have all confirmed talks of willingness to arrive back on set to continue filiming the Star Wars epic movies. "We're very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday film-going season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has the time needed to deliver a sensational picture", stated Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios.
Last week, LucasFilm debuted a new picture that showed JJ Abrams alongside Kathleen Kennedy, standing around the famed blue and white R2-D2. Disney confirmed on Tuesday that the famous robot would be appearing in the upcoming film and would have a incredibly interesting story to tell the audience. Disney and LucasFilm's Star Wars: Episode VII is currently in pre-production at Pinewood Studios in the U.K. and will begin ful production of the movie this spring.
