The Rebels will team up with Hondo and his pirates in the upcoming episode of "Star Wars Rebels" season 3.

Based on the synopsis for the episode, the collaboration is meant to reclaim supplies and other weapons needed by the Rebellion.

Titled "The Wynkahthu Job," episode 9 will follow the Rebels as they realize that their mission is far more dangerous than they expected it to be.

The synopsis for the episode reads, "The Rebels team with a pair of unscrupulous pirates to salvage a freighter full of weapons the rebellion needs, but find the mission is far more dangerous than anticipated."

Given the synopsis, it looks like episode 9 will take a break from the master plans of the villain Grand Admiral Thrawn, as well as the epic battles between Jedi and the Sith. The series only has three episodes left before its hiatus, so the last two episodes are expected to feature storylines that will move the story significantly forward before the series takes a break and returns next year.

A preview video for the upcoming episode was released by Disney XD and Lucas Film Animation on November 21, showing Ezra and Zeb listening to the story of the last adventure of Hondo Ohnaka. In the video, Zeb looks impatient so Hondo skips some details and gets straight to the point. He also accuses Hondo of bringing up their team only after losing the whole crew.

"Star Wars Rebels" season 3, episode 9, is scheduled to air on November 26 on Disney XD.
