Steam Store Update News: Huge Design Makeover For Easier Navigation

There's a huge Steam Store update but it's mostly on aesthetics side as the layout of the website has changed.

Among the changes in the Steam Store update are:

Quick Access - gives browsers more direct access to the common destinations. It also offers links to important sections that people don't often visit

Great Deals - you can also get first dibs on the hottest discounts, sales, specials and other offers

Recently Viewed - you can go back to the Steam products that you recently browsed

Friends Activity - you can also view what your friends have been browsing. It's a good way to see what they have been downloading so you can also check these products out

Updated Games - tired of all the clutter? You can organize your library to show only your recently updated titles

Expanded Curators - you can view curated titles through a scroll bar and feature. You can view their information without the website recommending that you buy them

"The new Highlights section shows more information about each game, why it was recommended, and by whom," the Steam Store website explained of its new update.

"Plus, this section uses new logic to determine what to show based on your playtime, what your friends recommend, what curators you follow, and more."

If you want to personalize your account, the button of which you can find on the upper-right corner of the game image. The quick menu tabs get you direct access to your Preferences for easier shopping experience.

According to Kitguru, the Steam Store update is welcomed considering that it reverted back to its "free-flowing look," which makes the whole design look personally curated.
