Though coming from humble beginnings and being raised in a small town in North Carolina, Kim Person has taken the nation by storm. She has graced major venue platforms (Bobby Jones Gospel & The McDonald's Gospel Superfest) and has been featured with such trailblazers as Donnie McClurkin, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Vickie Winans, Deitrick Haddon, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Yolanda Adams. Kim has toured extensively throughout the country building a fan base network along the way. 

As a result, Kim’s 2019 project, “The Journey”, landed in the Billboard Top 10 for Gospel Album Sales and Top Gospel Album. “The Journey” spent over 25 weeks in the Billboard Top 20 and peaked at #2 for Top Gospel Album. Then in 2020, Kim Person, made the final ballot of the Stellar Gospel Music Awards claiming two (2) nominations - “New Artist of the Year” and “Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year”. Now in 2021, the journey continues with the release of her latest radio offering, “Wonderful”.

"I credit the source of inspiration for ‘Wonderful’ from my late grandmother who used to sing a rendition of it. Infused with a new twist, I added my vocals to the groovy, celebratory beat and created a perfect arrangement to evangelize the Gospel while connecting to the heart of the listeners. They’ll absolutely receive something ‘Wonderful’!!” 

Kim Person is excited about the national radio servicing of  “Wonderful” this week. In addition, “Wonderful”, along with the 5-song EP, “Journey 2.0”, will be available on all digital download/streaming outlets, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Google Play this Friday 10/1/2021.
