The Stellar Awards, the highest industry honor in the genre of Gospel music, recognize the best and brightest of the year.  I Hear Music artists received a whopping 38 nominations including Mary Mary with 9, Charles Jenkins with 8, Marvin Sapp with 6, and Isaac Carree and Andrae Crouch, both with 5 each.  Artists Anita Wilson and Byron Cage received nominations as well.  All of the nominees in the Song of the Year category (Andrae Crouch, Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago, Marvin Sapp and Mary Mary) and in the Traditional CD of the Year category (Andrae Crouch, Byron Cage, Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago, and Marvin Sapp) are clients of I Hear Music.

In addition, Mary Mary will host the 28^th Annual Stellar Awards and artists Israel Houghton, Marvin Sapp and Charles Jenkins are scheduled to perform.  The 28th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN.

During Stellar Awards weekend, Sapp will receive the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award at The Urban Soul Café on Thursday, January 17, 2013 and Byron Cage will receive the 2013 O'Landa Draper Memorial Unsung Hero Award, also at The Urban Soul Café that same day.
