'Steven Universe' Season 3 Release Date News: More Details Coming Out At New York Comic Con 2016

Fans may hear details on "Steven Universe" season 3 at New York Comic Con.

Show creator Rebecca Sugar tweeted that she would be at the event in the upcoming week. In line with this, people assume that she is set to announce details on the show's release date and spoilers.

"I'll be at NYCC next week! Hope to see you there!," Sugar wrote.

In terms of release date, "Steven Universe" season 3 is set to be released before November, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. As per the publication, the series is set to air special episodes on Cartoon Network. The report added that one episode is entitled "Stop Bullying: Speak Up," which centers on a campaign. The episode is set to run within October.

As per reports, Sugar is set to create the series' special content and the show's third season was reportedly delayed to present the show's overview on Cartoon Network's campaign against bullying.

Some rumors also state that "Steven Universe" season 4 will resurface in November. As per Reddit user Jurman77, it has an episode entitled "Gem Harvest" and it is set to air on Nov. 24, which is Thanksgiving Day. In line with the holiday, it is added that the episode will feature a flashback about a Thanksgiving event between the Beach City inhabitants and the Crystal Gems.

"There won't be an episode this week or for the next few weeks but how long is this hiatus going to be. Some think that there will be another Steven bomb at the end of fall," Jurman 77 wrote on the forum website.

Meanwhile, New York Comic Con 2016 is set to take place on Oct. 6 to Oct. 9 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
