'Stranger Things' Season 2 Air Date, Cast News: No Time Jump As Fiilming Kicks Off [TRAILER]

News about the "Stranger Things" season 2 has been sparse, but what little details we could get point to no time jump in the events at the conclusion of the pilot season.

A news article from UK's Mirror quoted creator Matt Duffer as saying that the whole events of season 1 took place within a span of a week. The "Stranger Things" season 2 will jump off right where the last episode ended.

"So part of what we want to do with hypothetical (yeah right) Season 2 is to explore the repercussions of everything that happened," he said.

The story description for "Stranger Things" read, "When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back."

Production has reportedly started on Nov. 7 although there's no release date revealed yet. However, it's expected that it will come out in the summer of 2017.

Director Shawn Levy shared some news on "Stranger Things" season 2 in an interview with Collider.

"We are filming in Atlanta again. I feel like that's how the Millie Brown thing leaked because someone saw her trick r treating in Atlanta," he said. "I was so bummed about that because Netflix had this really clever idea of taking a picture at our table read last week and posting it upside down, which is what we did. But then like two days before our clever idea got to debut, a bunch of places were reporting that Millie was gonna be a part of Season 2."

Watch out for more news on "Stranger Things" season 2, which will be revealed here when they come along.
