Stryper's Michael Sweet to Release Solo Album, I'm Not Your Suicide' and Autobiography; Debuts First Single 'The Cause' (VIDEO)
Classic Christian metal band Stryper's frontman, Michael Sweet, will be releasing a a solo album, I'm Not Your Suicide, along with an autobiography, "Honestly: My Life and Stryper Revealed," on May 6.

"After 30 years in this business, I feel honored and blessed to be able to continue doing what it is I love, making music," said Sweet. "I'm extremely thankful to have the greatest fans in the world. God has blessed me with this talent and I plan to continue on this path as long as I can draw breath," Sweet said in a press release.

Stryper's newest album No More Hell to Pay debuted at No. 2 on the Contemporary Christian Album, No. 3 on the Current Hard Music Albums, No. 6 Top HardMusic Albums, No. 3 on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums, and No. 35 on the Billboard Top 200.
