Super Smash Bros 4 released a new Pic of the Day that shows off Mario and Link fighting over a ledge grab.

In the photo, Link is seen grabbing the ledge of a level as Mario is stomping down onto him while he is trying to climb up. However, according to the caption, it appears Link is besting the fire ball throwing plumber.

"Pic of the day. There are many changes being made to attack and defense options for grabbing edges. In this picture, Link is actually trumping Mario's grab," posted Masahiro Sakurai on the game's Miiverse. See the picture here.

Earlier in the week a screen shot of the single player mode of the 3DS was showed off.

In the screen shot, Mario is seen standing beneath two platforms that look to be an extension of a side scrolling level.

"Pic of the day. Where am I......?? To be clear, the new Super Smash Bros. games does not feature a story mode like The Subspace Emissary," Sakurai wrote on Miiverse. See the picture here.

SSB4 is rumored to be coming out for the Wii U and 3DS sometime in March, although there has been no confirmation from Nintendo yet.
