Fans of "Supergirl" received a good dose of intergalactic drama in the fifth episode of the series.

In "Supergirl" season 2, episode 5, Kara will suit up for an army of aliens. Elsewhere in the episode, Winn and James will finally face their dreams of becoming superheroes, as well as the dilemma that comes with their dreams.

Titled "Crossfire," episode 5 will introduce to viewers a spiteful gang armed with alien technology. Supergirl will not be happy with what they have in mind, so she will do what she thinks has to be done. The official synopsis for the episode reveals that the female superhero will beat the ruthless gang that is completely equipped with technologically advanced fatal weapons. As Cadmus sends a video to the DEO, the team will discover that it is Cadmus who is actually staffing the criminals for what seems to be a clandestine mission.

The episode will also follow Kara as she gets Mon-El an internship job at Catco, as well as James as he comes up with a crucial decision. Lena will also invite Kara to join her fundraising campaign.

Another spoiler for the episode indicates that the new big boss of CatCo also seeks to become a superhero in his own right, so James will assume his new job as a vigilante for the National City at night. James hates the idea that he has been a sidekick all his life while his best friends wear cape and save people.

"Supergirl" season 2, episode 5 aired on Nov. 7 on The CW.
