Taylor Swift New Album 2014: New Songs from "Red" Songstress in 2014? [VIDEO]

Taylor Swift made a surprising confession to Examiner in a new interview, saying that her original life goal was not to be an international pop star. Her first dream was to be a novelist, but she has managed to use her story telling skills to help her write her songs. She will be using these skills as she writes her new album for 2014 as a follow up to her current album "Red."

Swift said, "You can convey a thought or a story or completely describe a character or a situation through words and the whole process of editing and re-editing and rethinking and imagining. I think that that's what I loved about writing the novel and that's what I love about poetry and songwriting."

Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend was involved with the film One Chance and wrote the song "Sweeter Than Fiction" for the end credits. She said, "I'm very inspired by the concept of love. And this movie is, in a lot of ways, a love story. You're expecting to go in and see a movie of someone who makes his dreams come true, but what you don't realize is you're actually being told a story of the love his wife... has for him."
