Ex-Boyfriend Contacts Taylor Swift About Songs on "Red"
Sure Taylor Swift might be the world's biggest pop star [at least according to New York Magazine], but that doesn't mean dating her is any easier. Rumor has it, two of her ex-boyfriends contacted the pop/country crossover artist about some of the songs on her last album Red.
One, apparently really like the new batch of songs, while the other sent Swift a series of emails that may or may not have come off a bit desperate to the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer.
"He was like, 'I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album,'" Swift revealed without mentioning her ex-lover's last name. "That was nice. Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude."
Crazy emails or not, Swift says it's the passionate moments that give her material to write about.
"Allowing yourself to feel raw, real emotions in public is something I am never going to be afraid to do," Swift told the magazine. "I'm fine with being honest with my fans about the fact that it's okay that everything isn't okay all the time. I love my life, I love my career, I love my friends-but things are not okay all the time. So I don't sing about things being okay all the time."
