Taylor Swift Earns Two Guinness World Records / "We Are Never Getting Back Together" Singer Shares Honor with One Direction Ex Harry Styles
Say what you want about country-pop balladeer Taylor Swift, but the girl knows how to write extremely successful songs. In fact T Swift just joined the woman with the longest fingernails, and man that can juggle the most basketballs by earning a spot in Guinness Book of World Records.
In fact the "Red" singer nabbed two records this year. The first for the fastest-selling digital single for last year's tart-pop smash "We Are Never Getting Back Together" and the second for being the first female solo artist to sell more than a million copies in two separate weeks.
Say what you want about Swift's laundry list of high status hookups. No one can deny the singer's penchant for writing some of the industry's most notable pop songs.
Along with her two Guinness World Records, Swift was the youngest artist to win the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2010 with her second release Fearless. Her most recent album Red sold over 1 million units in the very first week of being released.
The sky's the limit for the talented blonde bombshell. Unfortunately she'll have to share the Guinness Book of World Records with her highly public ex boyfriend Harry Styles of One Direction. The boy band earned the record by having the highest debut by a British group in the US singles chart with "Live While We're Young".
