Southern Gospel formation The Akins celebrated the release of their project Based On A True Story at their home church.

The Akins held the release concert yesterday, August 26, 2012, at 7pm, at Harps Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ga.

After the release concert The Akins tweeted, "Wow! What a night!!! All we can say is thank you God!! Thanks so much to everyone who came out!" The Akins continued, "We are so thankful for our church, and it's always a blessing to be home."
