The Avengers Age of Ultron, Batman vs Superman, and Star Wars Episode VII Coming to Theaters 2015
Star Wars: Episode VII, TheAvengers: Age of Ultron, and Batman vs Superman are coming to theaters in 2015, already making a run to surpass the upcoming blockbuster's of 2014.
Star Wars Episode VII will be the first Star Wars film made by Lucasfilms after Disney acquired the rights. The film is expected to mark the return of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa), and Harrison Ford as space cowboy Han Solo.
"We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison-or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, 'Look, this is what's going on,'"‰"said Star Wars creator George Lucas on the Bloomberg Businessweek website last year regarding the rumor of the original cast returning.
Lucas further expressed his thoughts to Bloomberg Businessweek.
"Maybe I'm not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them," concluded Lucas. "I won't say whether the negotiations were successful or not."
So far the only character officially announced for the film is fan favorite droid R2-D2.
Star Wars Episode VII is making its long awaited return to the big screen on December 18, 2015.
DC Comics heroes' Batman and Superman will finally meet for the first time on film in, Batman vs Superman. Oscar Award winning actor Ben Affleck is making his Dark Knight debut as billionaire Bruce Wayne's alter ego, Batman.
Henry Cavill will be reprising his role as the Man of Steel himself, Superman aka Clark Kent. Lawrence Fishburne and Amy Adams are also returning for the crossover film. Gal Gadot will be making her debut as the Amazonian Princess Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman.
The Batman vs. Superman movie will arrive on July 17, 2015.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is the sequel to Marvel's 2012 blockbuster film, The Avengers.
Robert Downey Jr will return as Iron Man to lead the all-star roster against Ultron. Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Chris Evans (Captain America), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) are among the numerous actors set to reprise their role when the smash hit returns to the big screen on May 1, 2015.
