"Big Bang Theory" episode 9, 'Thanksgiving Decoupling' aired last thursday as the whole gang comes together at Howard's moms house for Thanksgiving dinner. Sheldon is reluctant as ever to go, but finally gives in and realizes that he truly does enjoy this special holiday. Yet, before he does, he compares it to how the African slaves felt. Amy trys to get him to be quite, when Penny chimes in about a Thanksgiving she spent in Las Vegas. While they all head over to the house Sheldon and Amy still bicker back and forth about the comparison between slaves and the actual meaning of Thanksgiving dinner. Penny and Leonard continue to argue about marriage and how Penny always shuts him down everytime he asks her, when Leonard insists she annuls the marriage with Zack as soon as possible. 

Meanwhile, Howards mom, Raj, is cooking dinner while Bernadette unpacks groceries. Amy then comes into the kitchen and drops the bomb about Penny and Zack, which in turn shocks Bernadette and Raj. Leonard then spends the majority of the day being angry, as Bernadettes dad and Sheldon bond drinking beer and talking about football while they make fun of Howard. Penny invites Zach over to sign the annulment papers, which leads Leonard to start a fight. Leonard and Penny fight it out as Zack trys to chime in, but than signs the papers and leaves. Bernadette arrives in the livingroom seeing the bonding expierence that is going on and yells at Sheldon to stop picking on Howard. "Thanksgiving Decoupling" ended with everyone sitting around the table when Bernadettes father asks Sheldon if he would like to go play football outside, as Sheldon tells him that the 'pigskin' is a jewish household. Bernadettes father turns to Howards and tell's him that he isn't exactly the worst son-in-law, as he throws his head back and laughs saying, "I'm drunk'. Episode 10, "The Discovery Dissipation" will aire next week and the synopsis for the upcoming episode is as follows:"Leonard and Amy help Sheldon cope with the shame he's feeling after his accidental contribution to science is disproved. Meanwhile, Raj must stay with Howard and Bernadette for a week". "The Big Bang Theory" episode 10, season 7,  "The Discovery Dissipation," will air on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
